Terry Reid is a very special artist, he originally sang for what is known as "Led Zeppelin" but he told Robert Plant it just wasn't "his thing" and stuck to his acoustic solo act. Reid is acknowledged by Robert Plant as the outstanding voice of his generation and an influence on Led Zeppelin's early material and is credited by Jimmy Page for connecting him to Robert Plant.
His music is so complete in composition, recorded on analogue technology, it melts and saturates in the brain like butter. One of his best songs is "To Be Treated Rite". A song which ebbs and flows, tenses and releases in the most perfect ways in perfect time and rhythm. I have barely heard a song composed so perfectly. In my opinion, Terry's best album is "Seed of Memory". Terry was born on November 13 1949. He is still making music and touring the world today.
